Frequently Asked Questions

How does spaced repetition work?

Swift English Vocabulary uses spaced repetition to help you remember words long-term. When you learn a new word, the app schedules reviews at increasing intervals. Words you find difficult appear more often, while words you know well are spaced further apart.

How do I manage child profiles?

Go to Settings in the app and tap on Profiles. From there you can create, edit, or delete child profiles. Each profile has its own word list and review progress. You can optionally set a PIN to restrict access.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through your Apple ID. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Find Swift English Vocabulary in the list and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll retain access until the end of the current billing period.

How do I delete my account?

Open Swift English Vocabulary, go to Settings, and tap Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and all associated data, including child profiles. This action cannot be undone.

Is my data private?

Yes. Swift English Vocabulary collects only what's needed to make the app work. We don't track you, show ads, or sell your data. Translations happen on-device using Apple's translation framework. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What is the AI Tutor?

The AI Tutor is an AI-powered English tutor available in the app. It can help you with word definitions, usage examples, grammar tips, and contextual explanations for the words you're learning. It also supports bilingual mode, which explains vocabulary in your native language. The AI Tutor is a Pro feature included with your subscription.

What languages are supported for translation?

Swift English Vocabulary supports all languages available through Apple's on-device translation framework. The supported languages depend on your device and iOS version. You can download additional language packs in your device's Settings under General > Dictionary / Translation.
