Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, and using the Swift English Vocabulary iOS app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the app. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time, and your continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of any changes.

Subscription Plans

Swift English Vocabulary is free to download and use with limited features. A Pro subscription unlocks full access to all word packs, unlimited reviews, and premium features. The following subscription options are available:

• •Monthly Plan: Auto-renewable subscription
• •Yearly Plan: Auto-renewable subscription

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions by going to your App Store account settings after purchase.

Subscription data is processed by RevenueCat, a third-party service used for subscription management and validation. Only your App Store receipt information is shared with RevenueCat for this purpose.

Third-Party Services

Swift English Vocabulary uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash reporting and app stability monitoring. Crashlytics automatically collects crash data and basic device information to help us identify and fix issues.

Swift English Vocabulary uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver push notifications and Firebase Remote Config to manage app configuration (e.g. free tier word limits). These services are operated by Google under their privacy policy.

Swift English Vocabulary uses Crisp for in-app support chat. Crisp is a third-party service that processes your email address, display name, and device token to provide live chat support and push notifications for support conversations. For details on how Crisp handles your data, see their privacy policy.

The AI Tutor feature is powered by Anthropic's Claude language model. Data is only shared with Anthropic after you give explicit consent through an in-app data sharing disclosure. When you use the AI Tutor, your messages and learning context are processed by Anthropic's API. See Anthropic's terms of service.

AI Tutor

Swift English Vocabulary includes an AI Tutor feature powered by an artificial intelligence language model. By using the AI Tutor, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• •Explicit consent is required before using the AI Tutor — you must agree to a data sharing disclosure before any data is sent to Anthropic
• •AI Tutor responses are generated by an artificial intelligence model and may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete
• •The AI Tutor is not a substitute for professional language instruction
• •Conversations are stored in your account and can be deleted
• •You can revoke your consent and delete your entire chat history at any time from your profile settings — this permanently removes all conversations and disables access to the AI Tutor
• •Your messages are processed by Anthropic's API — see Anthropic's terms of service

Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple App Store settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods. All billing inquiries, refund requests, and subscription management are handled directly by Apple through the App Store. Account Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account if you violate these Terms of Use or engage in activity that we deem harmful, abusive, or illegal. You may delete your account at any time directly within the Swift English Vocabulary app. Deletion of your account will remove access to premium features and your account data.

Content Ownership

All word packs, vocabulary lists, and educational content within the Swift English Vocabulary app are owned by Swift English Vocabulary and protected by copyright. You may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit this content without permission.

Your personal learning data, progress, and saved vocabulary belong to you. We store this data to provide our services and improve your experience.

User-Generated Content

Swift English Vocabulary allows users to submit feature requests. By submitting a feature request, you agree to the following:

• •Feature request titles and descriptions are visible to all users
• •Your display name is shown alongside your submissions
• •Other users can vote on your feature requests
• •We may moderate or remove feature requests at our discretion
• •Submitting a feature request does not grant any ownership claims over the resulting feature or implementation

Limitation of Liability

The Swift English Vocabulary app is provided on an "as-is" basis without warranties of any kind, either expressed or implied. We make no guarantee regarding the availability, accuracy, or functionality of the app. We are not liable for any data loss, device damage, or indirect or consequential damages resulting from your use of the app.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use at any time without notice. Your continued use of the Swift English Vocabulary app following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for updates.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by applicable law. The Swift English Vocabulary app is developed by Mathias Ovieve as an individual developer.
